Ten years ago I had surgery on my neck. A piece of bone was removed from my hip and was put into my neck to repair three badly bulging discs. A few days after the surgery I was told that in about ten years the discs above and below the fused area would start to break down and I may need another surgery. I was shocked, you mean I may have to go through this again? It was a possibility.
In the past few years the pain in my neck turned into pain in my arms and then I started to get numbness and tingling. I was so afraid; while I'm thankful for modern medicine and what they were able to for me, I didn't want to go through surgery again.
The pain was getting worse all the time and soon became unbearable. I tried tropical rubs, heat, ice, tylenol, and advil. Anything that I thought might help, but nothing did.
Our minister started mentioning in his message on Sunday mornings how much Dr. Tinkle had been helping him with some problems he was having. The thought crossed my mind that maybe he might be able to help me. Week after week Dr. Tinkle's name came up in Steve's message. I thought that maybe God was using Steve to get to me. I decided to call Dr. Tinkle... he got me right in and listened to me sob like a baby. After a thorough exam and x-rays he told me he thought he could help. I was given hope. He started working on my neck, and it wasn't long until I started feeling some relief. With each treatment things got a little better.
When I think where I was then I first started seeing Dr. Tinkle (with a pain level of 10 on a scale of 1-10) and where I am now (most of the time pain level of 2 out of 10)... I am so thankful that God used my minister to bring me to Dr. Tinkle. I am so thankful to Dr. Tinkle to be willing to try to help me when I thought nothing else could.
